What Was So Special?

"This photograph was created at a special location known to us (we have many others to choose from). It was a beautiful day, and dad decided to surprise mom with a very special Mother's Day Gift! Lighting this portrait was a special challenge, due to the very bright sun. It was important that the subjects be lit perfectly from the setting sun, without 'washing out' the the lake behind them."
