April is Sarcoidosis Awareness Month. I was diagnosed with multi-organ Sarcoidosis in 2018, affecting my liver, lungs, and spleen. Sarcoidosis is an uncurable diagnosis, but I know why I have some of the symptoms I've had for many years, even before 2018. I will be taking medication for the rest of my lifetime. Most days are better than others, and it's not noticeable outwardly in most people diagnosed with sarcoid. Some of my medications prevent me from being exposed to the sun for any length of time. I installed the Spectra Fire Orange shield on my helmet, which blocks 99% UV. It works and does not limit my vision, even in low-light conditions!
